Eleanor sees children (6+), adolescents and adults in West Perth, Como and via telehealth
I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, and have a particular interest in working with children (age 6+) and their families, to help with a range of emotional and behavioural concerns. I enjoy the creativity that comes with working with children, and place a high value on creating a safe, non-judgemental space for all my clients.
I enjoy supporting people with many types of concerns including:
- Anxiety (generalised anxiety/worry, panic, social anxiety, and phobias)
- Depression and other mood disorders
- Sleep problems
- Parenting challenges
- Child behavioural and emotional difficulties
- ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Stress management
- Self-compassion and self-esteem
- Relationship difficulties
I take an individualised and collaborative approach in therapy, with a readiness to listen to what has brought you here and discuss how we can best work together to meet your goals. I work within various evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), metacognitive therapy, mindfulness, and family intervention techniques.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Western Australia, my Masters of Psychology (Clinical) at Curtin University, and have experience within both public and private mental health settings.
