Main areas of practice
I am passionate about providing clients with an individualized empathetic therapy experience that is guided by evidence-based interventions. I enjoy working collaboratively with adolescents (12+) and adults to address a variety of presenting issues, including:
- Depression & low mood
- Anxiety disorders (panic, social anxiety, generalised anxiety/worry)
- Stress management
- Substance use problems
- Gambling concerns
- Issues regarding gender and sexuality
- Relationship difficulties
- Performance psychology and sport psychology
- Sleep issues
I completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology at The University of Western Australia and a Masters in Clinical Psychology at James Cook University in Townsville. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and utilize components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness where appropriate. I am fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
I believe longstanding change is made possible through a trusting therapeutic relationship where topics can be non-judgementally explored, meaningful goals are set, and tailored interventions are utilized.
