Renn sees children, adolescents and adults
Renn is a Clinical Psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, children and their families. During his training, he had the opportunity to work in the area of child protection and with sex offenders.
He has an interest in treating:
- anxiety disorders
- posttraumatic stress disorder
- adjustment disorders
- behavioural difficulties
- sexual paraphilias
- inappropriate sexual behaviours.
Renn uses a holistic and client-centred approach and believes in building on individuals' and families' strengths. He works collaboratively with his clients using a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and occasionally drawing on frameworks from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), schema therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Renn is experienced in delivering therapy in both individual and group settings.
Renn is multilingual and he is open to conducting therapy sessions in Malay, Cantonese or Mandarin if required. Renn is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and British Psychological Society.
