I completed my Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2013 at Curtin University following the completion of undergraduate studies in 2009 at the University of Western Australia.
I have several years experience in public mental health settings and private practice working with varied presenting problems including
- mood disorders (depression, bipolar)
- anxiety (generalised anxiety, /worry, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, fears and phobias)
- trauma-related concerns
- psychotic symptoms (hearing voices, unusual beliefs)
- adjustment to chronic health concerns (chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome)
Informed by a thorough and holistic assessment I utilise a number of therapy modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behavior therapy.
