I completed my Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2013 at Curtin University following the completion of undergraduate studies in 2009 at the University of Western Australia.
I have experience in both public mental health settings and private practice working with varied presenting problems including:
- Insomnia
- Mood disorders (depression, bipolar)
- Anxiety (generalised anxiety, worry, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, fears and phobias)
- Psychological and emotional trauma
- Psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, hearing voices, unusual beliefs)
- Adjustment to chronic health concerns (chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome)
Informed by a thorough and holistic assessment I utilise a number of evidenced based therapy modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy. I acknowledge that everyone's needs are different, and I tailor my approach to meet an individual's needs. My aim is to work collaboratively and compassionately to reach your treatment goals.
