Asha is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working with young people and adults from all walks of life. Asha provides assistance to individuals presenting with a range of challenges, including:
- Anxiety and related issues, such as worry, panic attacks, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder and social anxiety
- Depression and other mood disorders
- Disordered eating and body image issues
- Health-related issues, including chronic pain and adjustment to medical diagnoses
- Interpersonal challenges
- Life stresses and transitions
- Loss and grief
- Low self-esteem
- Perfectionism
- Sleep disturbances
- Trauma
To best support her clients, Asha takes a tailored and evidence-based approach to each individual’s care. She has training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Skills.
Asha is LGBTQIA+ affirmative in her approach and offers support to those with neurodiversity in their background. Asha brings a warm, respectful and collaborative approach to her clinical work. She is passionate about empowering others to live happy and healthy lives.
