I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
I am passionate about mental wellbeing with experience in working with adolescents (14+), adults, couples, and persons within LGBTIQA+ communities. I take an open and collaborative approach to best understand what has brought you to see me, and how best I can assist you in meeting your unique mental health goals.
I use techniques from a range of evidence based approaches including:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR – Level 1 Training),
- Metacognitive Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing,
- Schema Therapy (ST),
- Mindfulness and compassion based frameworks.
I enjoy working with a range of concerns including:
- Anxiety,
- Adjustment reactions,
- Chronic pain,
- Depression and other mood disorders,
- Interpersonal difficulties
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,
- Sleep problems,
- Trauma related difficulties.
I completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and Master of Clinical Psychology degrees through Curtin University and have experience working within private practice and community mental health settings.
